Picture Re-Take Day

Picture re-take day will be Friday, October 18th.  If you did not have your picture taken on September 10th, you will need to have it taken on October 18th.  Every student is required to have their picture taken for their picture id.  If you want to have your picture re-taken, you need to have your original pictures with you on re-take day.

Alpine Ski Team

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for any student interested in joining the Alpine Ski Team.

Karate Club

David Moyle, Seventh-degree Black Belt will be holding a Karate Club in the MS/HS Cafeteria starting October 24th from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.  The cost for the class is $20/month.  Any economically disadvantaged family will have their tuition waived.  Classes will focus on coordination, increased strength, building core strength and learning self-defense without contact.  Please call David at 906-235-8427 if you have any questions or would like to sign up.

Student of the Month

Congratulations to 8th grader, Josie Hoglund for being chosen as September's Student of the Month.   Josie was chosen based on her drive to stay current with her school work and for her willingness to work with everyone and for helping others.

Saturday school is this Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Please make sure you turn in your applications by the end of the day Thursday, September 26th.

Meetings:

There will be a boys basketball meeting in Mr. Schlager's room on Friday, September 27th during 3rd period.  Any boys interested in playing basketball should attend the meeting.

This scholarship is designed to help youth (and adults!) of the Chequamegon Bay area participate in outdoor educational programs through programs like Outward Bound, Wilderness Inquiry or Northland College.  The one-page application also includes a page of explanation of eligibility criteria and application processes.  Deadline to apply is October 1, 2019.  Please stop by the office for an application.

Red Cliff 4th Annual Cultural Days - Adrian Reede Memorial 3v3 Basketball Tournament

Youth Teams - Boys & Girls 5th - 8th Grade and 9-12th Grade.  Saturday, September 21st at 9 a.m.  Registration Deadline is September 18th.  Registration forms are available in the office.

Clay Trap Team
Anyone interested in participating in Clay Trap Club must be registered prior to September 10th, 2019 with the league.  Please stop in the office for more information.

Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

Orientation Day

Orientation Day for 7th Grade, Freshmen, new and exchange students will take place on Thursday, August 29th.  Below is the agenda for the day:

8:00 - 8:30 a.m.  All students, parents (recommended), and staff report to the gymnasium

8:30 - 8:45 a.m.  Students report to Homeroom Extended Learning Period (HELP) class to go over the schedule for the day.  Parents can receive a tour of the building.

8:45 - 11:00 a.m.  Team building activity

11:20 - 12:00 p.m.  Lunch at the school

12:05 - 12:20 p.m. Students will report to scheduled classes (modified times) starting with 1st period.

3:05 - 3:25 p.m.  All students and staff report to the cafeteria for the Activities Fair, Ice Cream and T-Shirts

First Day of School - September 3rd

The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, September 3rd.  The school day runs from 8:12 a.m. to 3:28 p.m. for all students.
